Ryan Wright is a 6’9 240 lb. basketball player from Toronto who has played professionally in Europe and Asia. He most recently competed in Hungarian A-division as well as FIBA Europe Cup with Falco KC. In 2012, while playing in Asia for the Taiwan SBL (Super Basketball League), Ryan was the league’s Scoring & Slam Dunk Competition champion. This made him a fan favourite in a league where he was the youngest import player. In addition to his professional career, Ryan also played for the Canadian Men’s National Basketball Team during their 2010 European tour
In college, Ryan played in the NCAA for two very successful programs at UCLA and Oklahoma. During this time, his teams competed in two Final Fours, and featured current NBA All-Stars such as Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers, and Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Ryan is described as an athletic phenomenon with a solid jumpshot. His agility makes it incredibly difficult for opposing forwards to stay in front of him, and his quick first step often allows for him to create his own shot. Ryan is currently endorsed by K1X and KT Tape where he is one of their sponsored athletes.
